Would Marker Squire's be suitable?

I'm 5'3" and 116lbs. I'm still growing so I might want some room for turning up the din setting in the future. Should I get the Squire's or should I put slightly more money into the Griffon's or another option?

This is probably the wise thing to do, I myself am 6'1" 177 lbs and I skied squires hard all season with no problems, I might have just been lucky though. Interestingly enough I have dynastar px12's on my park skis and I broke the brake of those in under ten days.

I don't understand as to why Marker decided to produce that piece of shit binding.

Griffons if you must, but I'd suggest the PX12s (like other have already) or the STH 12 driver.

its a pricepoint binding with a great din range and its light and look fairly cool. all of those kids that want to get into freestyle dont know any better and marker takes advantage of that

I dont know what kind of witchcraft was going on with my squires, but I kept finding myself release on butters and stupid little things. So, i went home and set my forward pressure correctly, and the next day when back from skiing the bindings would have slid back a few clicks. this happened continually and i even had my buddy at the timberline shop set it and it would still slide back.

Then i just bought fks. problem solved.

It will be an issue with either the track or the forward pressure adjustment mechanism.

Been riding on squires for 3 years, first on my blends as my pow/allmtn ski then recently swapped them onto my steps and have had no issues yet. Saying that I was really a beginner/intermediate park skier when I got them and was looking for something cheap in my din range. I foresee them causing some issues in the near future as I move to regularly hitting larger features and skiing more aggressively. Already got an annoying thing where they half click in and I need to pull the heel up to get in properly or stomp in.
