Worth getting HERO 2 or new HERO 3?

I have the original HERO, wondering if there is any reason to get the newer version, seeing as how they both still shoot in 720p 60fps?
 
Wait a couple of years and get the 3, by then they should be on the Hero 5 so the 3 will be dirt cheap.
 
yah im looking between the contour+2 and hero 3. Any suggestions?

Yes I know this should be going in gear talk but i dont want a stupid kid saying repost or some stupid shit
 
not worth selling the 2 to get the 3, but if you are just getting one then get the 3. you can get the silver for the same price, same features, better quality lens, and you don't have to get the wifi bacpac so you are saving money that way
 
im still on the original go pro hero HD(first gen) does it make sense to spend a few extra bucks an get the 3 or just get the 2? not gonna lie the three looks sick!
 
I just want to hop on the bandwagon.......No idk from the quality it puts out used to look good but compared to the go pro 2 the quality just seems not as clear and kinda foggy idk Ive had it for about 4 years feel time to upgrade.....
 
Yeah seeing the video they put out, or even HERO 2 videos there is such a difference in quality, on blue bird days my gopro is way too bright, in low light it is way too dark.
