I'm pretty sure I remember seeing one that had a bunch of tricks filmed from a shaky tripod on what looks like a gopro and it had some shitty rap music in the background and was from the same exact angle the whole time. And it was like interlaced or had frame blending or some shit too
 
Honestly splice you blew this out of proportion. Making a ski edit is supposed to be fun, its something you go out do with your friends, put your favorite song to it, and edit the way you want it to look. Of course there can be more steps you go through to make an edit but like i said its about having fun and you've made a whole production company before you've even turned 13. You don't need a 70-200 to make a good edit. There have been videos of the day made with go pro and a t2i with kit lens.
