Worst summer setup injuries

Took my first hard slam on my summer setup recently and it got me thinking. What's the worst that's happened to you guys on a summer rail? Has anyone gotten seriously injured on one?

So far so good, I've definitely taco'd my fair share of times but nothing serious. I definitely have had some close calls to having my face hit the rail so I think my time is probably coming

^definitely make sure that if your using old beater skis that your dins are still right, real easy to put a ton of stress on your knees with grass/turf

I used to work at Snogression and pretty much every day someone (usually a snowboarder) would bust themselves up on the ramp.

The ramp is made of msnow which makes carving pretty much impossible. The most common way of crashing was when people would let go of the bar and head down into the tranny, they’d lose their edge and slam into the takeoff.

Msnow leaves a pretty nasty mark on shoulders, arms and palms. I even helped a kid tweezer some msnow splinters out of his hip.

idk how you could get hurt on a setup. Unless you have weak bones or something.

The main thing about it is that muscle memory of falling doesn't carry over from snow to grass since you stick to the grass. So if you come off early in an awkward way and your skis stick to the ground but your body keeps going forward you can tweak something in a weird way that doesn't really happen on snow.

I used to have a summer setup for 5 years and nothing bad happened. I made sure to always put as much turf in the landing and around the rails and keep it as wet as possible. My rails were 1-1.5 foot tall too so nothing could really go wrong

a buddy got his ski stuck directly inside the pipe hole during his pop and resulted in an acl tear. overall super rare freak accident, but i do recommend you block the hole if you havent already :)
