you cant say anyone sucks if there trying..... i bet you there are a bunch of kids that arent the best yet at skiing on this site, doesnt mean they suck, jsut means they arent at the same level as everyone else. and being a pro means you have achived a higher level then everyone, meaning no pros 'suck'

screw you: if you think they suck then you suck. as long as they are out there repping our sport, spreading the word, trying their best, then they dont suck. i can spin a 3 and slide some rails, but since i actually try i dont feel i suck. i feel im nowhere near the same level that others are at, but that's different. i think that it's just good that our sport is getting media attention

the question isn't 'which pros suck'...if you guys could read and understand english, it's more like 'which pros is the worst', it doesn't need to mean that they suck, more like which pros aren't as good as the others...get it?...good

well when someone says a pro athlete sucks they arent saying that theyre better, theyre saying that they arent on the same level as the other pros. when u watch an nfl qb throw 4 interceptions u can say that they suck on the level they are on, even though u couldnt do any better.

 
yeah, obviously they are comparing them to other pro athletes who are on the same caliber or better, but still man, for people to say someone sucks thats a pro... a pro cant get on that level if they suck... maybe they are having an off game, session, year, whatever....... or maybe they just dont have the ambitions that another pro skiers, rider, athlete, whatever has..... i mean some pros def have more skills then others, but in my opinion no pros suck.... just some are better then others

i personally dont think Greg Tufflemire deserves as much props for his skills. I hear he's a really cool guy and maybe thats why everyone in the industry likes him so much, but his style, or lack of style or whatever, just doesnt appeal to me. Just watch his 2nd place halfpipe run at the US open last year and you might understand better (i know the conditions sucked that day but still..)

and even if you dont like tanners style he would kill you on the slope, bottom line tanner is really good even if he dress like a black man.

a lot of the sickest skiers out there dont even want to get sponsored, because once skiing is your job it can become a chore, and that would suck a lot more than having to buy my own skis. On the flipside of that, a lot of kids can get lucky in a comp when a team rep is there, and then get away with the sponsorship that someone else wants (pretty much all of us would fall into the I wanna get sponsored catagory)

 
Your right that balls doesn't always equal skills, but GT definatly isn't lacking in either. GT goes big and usually doesn't throw the 'sure trick,' like a lot of other competitors. I know I love to watch GT compete because he leaves you on the edge of your seat wondering if he can stay on his feet for the whole run. His style may not be the smoothest, but he is progressing skiing.
