Agreed its dangerous to tall people like me when assholes yank a metal bar down that hits me in the head. I should sue assholes who lower the bar without warning me.

Actually, no, I'm not sorry.

Just because Rossignol pays every ski publication heaps of money to win ski tests, it doesn't mean these are good skis.

fuuuuuuuuck soul 7s.

Why are they shit? I thought they were awesome when I used them. I'm curious to know why you think they're bad.

there's shit for freestyle, and for bombing in any condition but pow, but for people who want a ski that kills it in powder and rides good on groomers it's a sick ass ski. My dad has them and it's exactly what he needs. Definitly not a ns type of ski though, I can't stand using them myself, can't do shit freestyle wise and not even good for small cliffs and such. But that's not what they're made for that's all.

fucking snow scooter (as in a freestyle scooter for snow) is probably the most fucked up thing i've seen on a piste. A part from those bioshock style helmets xD

Why the fuck would you hate on fanny packs, where the hell would you put your snacks!!!

pockets are the secret. You can store anything 2 cubic inches and weighs less than a few 100 grams. Quick to access and companies love to get teckie on them.

Backpacks with complete straps will hold much more. You can even store water!

You're judging a pow ski by how well it preforms in the park? Also there are NSers who ride Backcountry all winter, so it is a NSers type ski.

Yeah i feel you. My helmets got tons of dingers from dipshit jerries dropping it down witbout warning.

They actually dont provide any sort of safety/protection. They are just there for a false sense of security.

You do realize that without early forms of blades (skiboards or what they were called), there wouldn't be twin tips

You are wrong, there were skis with a form of tips on both sides before ski blades. Snowboarding shaped the freestyle part of the sport.

Not sure if the Anton suspension skis were mentioned yet.

I guess they have their place with the old crowd or something.

I feel like these would be fun to rip around on groomers with. Are they stupid af? yes but you gotta admit theyd be pretty damn fun.

I saw someone at copper going switch down a mildly steep trail on sled dog things. I couldn't decide if it was impressive or hilarious. Also, it occurred to me that if the sled dogs boots don't fit your feet well, you're screwed.

As someone who works at a "rossignol experience center" the s lineup (have not been on the squad yet though. Squad is a different animal) has a extremely low swing weight with a lot of nose rocker with a 5 point design. Everything about the s lineup nose screams twitchy. If you go fast and drive skis hard you will be absolutely annoyed by the nose being naturally unstable and its lack of wanting to track straight in anything slightly variable with any sort of speed.

Now I'm not saying the s line up sucks, I'm just saying that if you ski hard you won't like them. The s line up is a good dad or old man ski. They are effortless to ski at slower speeds, turn on a dime at slow speeds and it feels good to go slow on them. They are also incredibly light which makes it easier on your muscles and your knees that are probably getting pretty brittle.

You trying to call me an old man?

No but that's who rossignol had in mind when they made the ski. They wanted to make money and the s line sells to people who are not skiing 50+days a year and those are the guys feeding the industry not rippers. If you know how to drive a ski or use the tips the e100 from rossi is better suited. Rossi was thinking of putting some metal in the super which would imo make the ski not as unstable.

Also just throwin out there as someone who tunes rossi's, rossi has the lamest excuse for bases in the s line up. They do not hold up to my expectations at least but the only brands that hold up skiing scree is on3p, mervin, never summer, and caravan skis out of bozeman and they know what it's like skiing on scree.

I think it is funny how people will hate on the binding that LINE tried. If you look at the new Marker bindings, like the Jester, or Jester Pro that every fuck on twins has drilled to their skis, and claims that this binding is the holy grail, which it is a good binding. The design of the binding is similar? Oh wait, it is! Also didn't K2 buy out LINE? Which K2 and Marker are together, and now they own LINE, who had a "stupid" design on a binding? WOW, minds are being blown. The binding that LINE tried to make is a very good concept, but the production and product wasn't the best, but thats okay, because it gave birth to a different binding that turned out to be one of the best bindings. In the end, what LINE tried to do with the skis, and binding configuration was a good idea, but the application just was not there.

I though the Triplet skis by Atomic was kinda cool, if you bought 2 sets of 3 skis to have 3 pairs of skis. Never skied on them though, so i have no idea.

Hey guys! Quick game, how many spelling mistakes can you find on their warranty page?

Screen%2Bshot%2B2015-04-11%2Bat%2B10.04.37%2BAM.png

LOL

I like how the only thing covered under warranty is basically factory defects i.e. skis that never should have reached the customer in the first place. The warranty, the grammar, the wix site... feeling trolled.

I'm all for helmets but I'm not about that storm trooper steeze

I refer to everyone who has a black one of these as 'Darth Gaper.' The amounts of Darth gapers are through the roof at Vail.

I agree. I mean, there was just a thread talking about problems about speed for big jumps. Here you go.
