I'm all for helmets but I'm not about that storm trooper steeze

The lip balm thingy what you were supposed to attach to your helmet, can't remember the name though. There was even a thread about.

I'm still wondering wtf were they thinking, if I glue a lip balm tube to my helmet, how I'm supposed to film those sweet 3s with my gopro.

Those rectangular ski goggles, the grind played for skis, and worst of all.... Snowboards

I remember elan skis had like a metal edge in the middle of the base underfoot for a couple years hahaha

You do realize that without early forms of blades (skiboards or what they were called), there wouldn't be twin tips

I thought that was snowboard that brought us twin tips.

Well yea, snowboards inspired for example Jason Levinthal to start designing twins. Blades were kind of a milestone or whatnot in the creation of twin tipped skis. (I might be wrong tho)

Fanny packs

Hey now. Hot sunny days out touring, fanny packs are great. Makes you feel special, you can keep snacks, camera, sunglasses, and smokables in one convenient location. Who doesn't like a good excuse for sporting a retro fanny pack?

Those boot sock things that go over your boot so you can keep your foot warm. At the expense of not being able to adjust your ski boot for the entire day.

Seriously. How could does it have to be to actually need one those things?

Chairlifts without safety bars.

boy-skilift-1.png

its survival of the fittest. if you cant sit on a fuckin chair without falling off, you dont deserve to be skiing

Ok sorry I've gotta do one more

Actually, no, I'm not sorry.

Just because Rossignol pays every ski publication heaps of money to win ski tests, it doesn't mean these are good skis.

fuuuuuuuuck soul 7s.
