i play soccer and i think thats gay. thats whats wrong with it these days. he gives the sport a bad name. there's a vid of someone else in a club game that does a really bad one.
 
here it is. horrible. he could have scored too. english soccer is sooo much better.

There was a hilariously bad one in the Switzerland vs Spain game and the referee actually blew a whistle on it. It was weird because all game Swiss players were like actually pushing/throwing Spanish players and he wasn't making any calls barely. Then this guy jumps up for a header and falls to the ground holding his ribs even though the guy matching him like literally barely grazed him with his hand.
 
it almost looks like he fell because he pulled/strained something as he was running.....

and i agree, diving is becoming way more popular, as well as players looking for a call from the ref and not playing until the whistle is blown
 
hmm...between the 2 videos posted, i've noticed a funny trend. I assume someone else has also....?

And to whoever said it, england is hardly any better. But they only get mad when it's a foreigner (eduardo) who does it. Rooney and gerrard go down with a gust of wind, and it's no problem. Eduardo goes down....they crucify him. And they are starting to have the problem of tackles becoming too violent and aggressive. (which once again leads to the foreigner problem. Terry breaks a mans leg, it's a "hearty, passionate old fashioned english style tackle." Sagna does it and its a "scandalous, outrageously dangerous, typical french cheat career-ending attack."
 
No it hasn't, you're just 14 still. Try manning up and using proper vocabulary to express stupidity rather than using a word that actually hurts other people. Just like you wouldn't use the word "jewish" to describe things that are cheap, you don't use 'gay' to describe things that are stupid or girly or things you don't like. Grow the fuck up, you fucking child.
 
this is the problem. how can you tell if someone's actually injured when they all flop around on the ground like they just shattered their legs?
it's despicable. i don't get how as a sports culture that kind of shit is tolerated. floppers should be endlessly ridiculed and stripped of their citizenship. North Korean floppers should be shot.
say what you want about basketball. the euro's are polluting that with flopping too. but at least nobody fakes injuries in basketball. they may fake fouls but nobody acts like they've just broken their leg in 15 places.
 
Uhhh yeah he obviously had a cramp in his calf (what some people might refer to as a charlie horse). He wasn't faking getting tripped. Just check out the look on his face and the way he grabs at his calf.

Although that shit does happen a lot and I fucking hate it when they fake injuries. Worst part about soccer by far.
 
that looked kind flopesque. But real injuries actually occur just from running, I know it's crazy but you can hurt yourself while sprinting in cleats.
 
Dude behind him stepped on the back of his ankle, I'm sure their wearing cleats and I'm sure that hurt at a full run like that. Look closer.

yes. have you ever heard of italians falling over and grabbing their ankle without anyone touching them? because if you have, that is what this thread is about.

also, mentioned it before, but if you want to watch real soccer, watch english premeir league. if you want to watch really real soccer (not sure what that means) but if you watch average teams in the epl (not manu, chelsea, liverpool, arsenal) - teams made up of a majority of english players, they fucking kill each other. english don't dive, only murder.
 
The first video is THAT bad since it looks like his toes were clipped by #15. Anyway, flopping like that is all part of the game, and a team will benefit from it many times than not.

Dude you can see his ankle twist as the guy cleats his achilles. Whatever ya he took a huge dive that's why opposing players are helping him up and patting his shoulder. Miracle??? The dudes foot is on the back of his foot, how can you not see that??
