Worried about my ON3Ps

I dropped off my Caylors and my FKS's at the shop yesterday to be mounted. The shop guy said he didn't have the jig for the FKS, but he said he could mount them using the mounting stickers. I trust the shop, but they're my Caylors.

Should I be worried?

If you trusted them then you wouldn't be worried, I'm always a bit like that when I get my skis mounted but I'm sure they will be fine!

Most shops will replace a pair of skis if they mess them up. So if worst comes to worst, you can probably pick out another ski of similar value from the store or they'll buy you new caylors. Chances are, they'll be fine though. A shop wouldn't tell you they could mount something unless they were confident they would be able to do it.

mine too. a couple weeks ago my shop messed up a mount and they wrote me a check for the price of the skis and let me keep the messed up skis! i was happy hahaha

Welcome to Grand Junction, Colorado. Really nice guys though.

Thanks for the reassurance, I was shitting myself.

Still, I think they should have the correct tools to deal with customer's needs. My old shop didn't sell Head/Tyrolia but we had the binding jigs for when customers brought in gear from somewhere else.

Yeah, every ski shop that really is legit should have all the binding jigs...it's just a must!

Wish this were true of most shops. So hard to get certain brand bindings mounted these days in certain areas. Sometimes you to drive hours to get bindings mounted.
