Worlds Biggest Disc Golf Weekend

Anyones local corses holding this event on Saturday? My local corse is and it said over 200 parks around the nation are. Its $13.00 for a disc stamped for this event, and a shirt. Bring all the newbs bc they have instructors there to show begginers how to throw and tips, should be a fun time!

i hope the course by us is, because the weather will be gosh darn beautiful and i havent even gone this year yet

go and play a real sport like....hmmm...i dunno...GOLF?

golf as in the sport where you play with 14 clubs instead of a frisbee. i saddens me that they even put the word "golf" with the word disc.

sure it might be fun if your really high or wasted and do it with a bunch of friends, but other than that i wouldn't bother.

or maybe it's because you don't have a golf swing that can last you 18 holes. (oh wait...gettin ahead of myself...9 holes.) so...you can only do the whole frisbee wrist snap action?
 
maybe they're not reacting to the fact that you're a girl posting. maybe they're reacting to an biased asshole. you should learn about the game before you rag on it
 
Please dont fucking talk. When you say "real" golfers, and what they think of disc golf has nothing to do with it. And actually all the golfers i know play disc also. And when you say 14 clubs instead of one disc your wrong there also. When you get good at disc golf you will learnyou need more than one disc, people actually have like up to 20 disc in there bag. It is just like golf in many ways. And i also play "real" golf too, but disc is more fun.

We didn't overreact bc a girl posted, we said what we did bc your a fucking moron for what you said. O and by the way from your pic its looks like youd be one hell of a golfer!

real golf isnt too cool, in my opinion, thats because personally i suck at it. But pretty much all through high school I havent been into sports where you play with balls, im just not into that ya know?

we all have our preferences. i am able to voice my opinion, if you don't like it then just ignore it or say something sharp, but don't start blabbing shit out. no need to get your tighties in a wad.

i personally don't like disc "golf". i'm oldschool, i like my golf the way it is with one golf ball and fourteen clubs. it also depends on where you live too.

i just don't find throwing a disc into a bunch of chains on a pedestal very appealing.

O and by the way...how can you tell from a picture that i would be a hell of a golfer?

I also have a very high respect for sycro swimmer... there fucking intense as hell, whats so gay about syncro?
 
My school Ultimate Frisbee Team just won the championship. It was our first and last game. I'm pretty pissed im not getting a Varsity letter for it though.

 
im sorry but since when was hitting a tiny ball with a long pole that has a "hitting sort of thing" on the end become such a renowned sport? o ya cause lazy people found they didnt have to move to swing and they could make golf carts to even get to their next shot. disc golf is awesome, nuff said
