World Cup Finals keep getting cancelled. Was FIS ever even core?

Yes, FIS sucks ass, but if the finals are cancelled it's because of the weather, and it's nice that skiers don't have to ride in super sketchy conditions. In the last two events, the qualifiers were brought forward by a day, so as to at least have a ranking, without which the competitions wouldn't have taken place at all. Once because of rain (Chur) and once because of strong wind and snowstorm (Stubai).

And it's great to see riders shooting street parts on the podium, Dani B in Chur and A-Hall and Mac in Stubai.
