looking at group G "the group of death" its looks like its going to be a great world cup in 2010. i can't wait to start watching it. Looks like Germany has a good set up, not too easy, and not impossible to win in. im stoked for this, and when it comes around school can suck the big one because im not going if germany is playing, im not missing a single game of theirs. Also the new ball look sreally sick.

Interesting...to me, it seems there is no group of death this year...the only one I would consider would be group G with Brazil, Portugal (who have been struggling), Ivory Coast is always strong, and Korea. But there have been tougher groups before.
 
I think Germany has a good shot to win their group. If U.S. finishes second in their group, they will be playing them. If not, probably England. They can take either of these. Also interesting that we might see a Germany-Argentina rematch of 2006's semis which Germany won on penalties. I'd say they could easily get into the semis, after that who knows.
 
Lets go USA!!!!!!!!!!! I'm super pumped we weren't put in a group that was going to shit on us, we can actually get somewhere this time
 
France cheated their way to the World Cup and they have cheated their way into an easy group as well. If the trend continues, they will play Italy again in the final, the two most massively boring and cheating squads. At least we won't have to hear those stupid vuvuzelas because every spectator will have fallen asleep.
But really, FIFA's incessant prioritizing of the top nations is quite ridiculous.
 
how did france cheat into that group? honestly, it's starting to clutch at nothing now. Sure they may not have qualified in the best way, and certainly didn't get the hardest group, but how did they cheat with the draw? Did Henry use his hand to guide the little ball with their piece of paper in it to his hand first?

 
How the hell did France cheat? They drew their draw fair and square, and got a fair record. They placed just like everyone else.

Now if you want to talk about cheating, how about the Italian national team's scandals, or Materazzi?

Or the English with Rooney?

and even though italy won on PK's... they looked like fucking fools for it, and completely non-deservant.

as for Australia we got a tough group but I think we can still make it through, Germany are shoe ins but it will be close between us, ghana and serbia. hopefully we can get a point out of the first match against Germany

 
i have tickets to first round games and just found out one game is BRAZIL VS PORTUGAL.... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa its gonnna be so sick!
 
ah shit i forgot about poland not even being in it this year. I am part german and polish so i always root for the two teams, but yeah that podolski thing is kinda funny. damn im kinda upset now that the polish are not in it. If Germany is not to win it this year, they will atleats make it top 3 like in '06. Its going to ba an amazing cup this year. fuck school, im staying home for whenever Germany is playing. Just say i have a Dr. appt. with Dr.Ballack.
