Working in vancouver

so i am currently looking at a job in vancouer, but i really dont like the big city lifestyle. I was looking at finding a place in squamish but didn't really know alot about the area or the drive to vancouver. Could you guys help me out with any info?

Where is the job, then? With the current state of the sea to sky you can count on an hour commute from squampton to downtown, more if there's a serious holdup. It'd be a lot easier to just live in bby or north van (so long as no one tries to jump off the 2nd narrows again).
