So ill be done my undergrad next year and will be moving out west for at least a year to bum around...
i was wondering how tough it is to get a job at a resort, ill do basically any job. i have been to fernie and would LOVE to work there if i could, did some surfing around their site and saw their job postings, just wondering if there are any other good places you guys would recommend applying too.
but my main question is how tough is it to get a job at one of these resorts? im sure there are an ass-ton of people applying for these jobs, just not 100%
thanks !

Take your outdoor emergency care and your avi 1 and try and get on trail crew at kicking horse. trail crew any where is pretty much the most legit job.you don't have to interact with people as much (rarely at all) as patrollers, lifties, instructors. And you get to ski just as much as patrollers.I have no clue about the fernie job market though. good luck man

i know 2 kids who just got jobs working at bigwhite on the park crew. I would start applying ASAP if you want to work out here
