Wordpress is pretty legit...

So I'm doing the park manager thing at my local resort. Never realized that wordpress was going to come in handy. I normally build the park site for our mountain and in the past I've found it to be time consuming with little return. It normally ends up not being updated as often as we would like and without the web knowledge to always stay on the ball, it's difficult.

Insert wordpress.

I feel that wordpress is going to be an asset to the success of getting the word out to our park riders at the mountain. It's easy to use, can be updated and altered as much as need be, can update from any computer, and most of my park crew will be able to update it if need be.

I really never thought I was going to be using a blog, but it's really going to make everything a lot easier. I'm going to try and learn more about CSS and PHP so if anyone has any help/tips, that would be great.

Until then, visit www.rmrparks.wordpress.com

If I were park manager or some position of that nature I'd definitely do a park blog. People love it. Notice how many people are interested to see what places and Loveland and A-basin have up, even if it's like a flat down and 1 box.

So props for being a good park manager.
