I feel like many other summer camps as large as WoodWard have "incidents" happen every summer that you never hear about...
Running off camp, as a staffer, with some mother&father's 15yr old child (who they paid for to go to camp) is fucking despicable. If there really was rape, then this guy is just beyond evil. I imagine WoodWard will try to settle this out of court for an enormous amount of money, with no charges pressed against the camp or former staff member.

ItKids going into these programs have no idea about anything and just blindly do what coach tells them in hopes of becomming a good skier, having fun, and meeting some friends and this happens, much like other alleged abuse scandals in other organizations. Pretty gross and yeah, watching how organizations like this try to safe face makes me lose all respect. I hope the family is able to pull through this and the kid gets the help they need.

The title of that page is pretty cringey though. Honestly no idea what went down. Maybe they did some shady shit maybe they didn't. I dont see how people blowing up their insta are surprised they stopped comments though.
I doubt they'd make a post about it on their insta even if the cover up situation isn't true.

If a counselor took an underage girl and left camp thats pretty fucked up, but the police seem to already be involved. There could be a cover up, maybe there isn't, but people want it too much sometimes and a boogieman to take down.

I think the crashes are to highlight the culture of minors being pushed too hard and either actively or passively being encouraged to try stuff that is well out of their comfort zone because they are at the camp. To me the crashes are just kind of whatever, it’s a little disturbing to see the fights that is another story

I think ppl who are in danger of becoming child molesters should be given some sort of medication to kill their sex drive. Like even something like morphine would work, and it wouldnt impair their lives or mental function at all. They might even be happier as long as they didnt go full retard and stop taking it.
I think for whatever reasons there are many ppl in society who are genetically predisposed to be driven towards sexual acts with children, and it would be better to have the sexual urges of would be molesters extinguished so that we dont have such a pedophile problem.
