i went on their site and i saw camps in the east but they didnt really specify if theirs a skiing program. id love to go to woodward at copper but its too far. So is their a skiing program?
yeah there is a skiing and snowboarding program, but it is kinda lame. on the mega ramp set up they put a carpet of snowflex there is 1 flat down rail then a log stall at the bottom. id call them for more info im not sure if they are still doing it because of the woodward at copper. if u skate, or bike than i would go, they do alot of tramp training aswell. its a superfun place i suggest checking it out
Contrary to popular belief Ohio Dreams is not owned by Woodward Camps... though some of their staff once worked for Woodward. The Ski/Snowboard program there only consists of a water ramp.
what you do is in the morning you go on the olympic tramps and they tech you some stuff on that
then later in the day you either go on the synthetic snow ramp and land on the air bag where i learned my front flips and then on other days snowboarders get to use rollerboards into the foam pit that there is a mellow lip put on while any skiers get to use rollerblades.
if you do plan on going make sure you bring something like rollerblades bike skateboard because you have one thing at 9am and the next is at like 4 so you have a lot of free time the synethetic hill has one rail to and a log jib it can be seen in this vid
after 30 sec that is not woodward east anymore
the ramp is fun but dont expect to be learning double you dont go that far
yes at woodward east there is skiing im going for skateboarding but u are still allowed to use the stuff for skiing if u want . they dont have much but they have one rele good rail set up they have a medium sized jump with a log stall next to it and another rail . they also let you use all the gymnastics equipment like the trampolines and foam pits. but if u were going just for skiing id say its not totally worth it but if u do aother sport lke inline skating bmx or skateboarding its def worth it
