Woodward at Tahoe

I know there are a million "which summer camp threads" but there really hasn't been one about woodward at tahoe that I can find.

It looks like its going to be sick, same thing as the one at copper with the foam pits and all but this one in tahoe has a quad providing lift for the whole park. Having a hard time deciding between this and windells, or possibly mhssc. What are your opinions? anyone else looking to go to the one in tahoe. INspired going the first week
 
this season in tahoe has been a drought and basically there have only been 2 major storms, one being in october and the other late january
 
I live in Tahoe so yes I have. There is enough snow for a park now. This thread is talking about a summer camp. It takes a lot of snow to be able to have a park in early summer. Boreal will do as much as they can and farm from everywhere, but there is only so much you can do if you dont have a bunch to start with.
 
Woodwood at Tahoe is 15miles from tahoe as the crow flies20 by car, It should be called woodward at Donner OR woodward at the resort with park riders and Asians!
 
We will have snow due to snowmaking and farming our glacier!

The last two summers we have done our Summer Shred in July as practice for the arrival of Woodward Tahoe. Our first summer shred was a public lift serviced park open to public July 10-11 2010. Taking what we learned from building that first glacier we expanded last year with our first on snow camp June 20-24th 2011..full park, superpipe, jumpline, bagjump and 15plus jibs. We still had enough snow left over for another summer shred lift serviced park July 23rd 2011. Now I know some people will say it was only because of the big snow year. However, all that snow year did was allow us to gain more glacier building experience. We know exactly how much snow we have to stash for summer camp as a result. We have been making snow all season so far strictly for summer camp and our year to date snowmaking total is double our next biggest year ever....DOUBLE and we already make a ton of snow in the parks to begin with every year.

Ask anyone that came to our camp last June or Summer Shred in July and they will tell you it was legit.

We have a video from that camp on the website and you can see the 2nd glacier we built but didnt use until july. The plan is to build 3 glaciers plus bury the superpipe as soon as the season ends...each glacier guarantees 2 weeks of summer camp. We've done this now two years in a row now and have it pretty dialed!

Eric, can i groom for you? Can i be your apprentice? Im a certified operator, ive been in 10 pieces of equipment.. I bet i could be productive with a cat in an hour. Challange me.
 
they dont have a snowflex jump at tahoe, just a skate jump. btw tahoe has no snow. go to copper or whistler not mt hood.... good luck
