Anyone on this site ski regularly at woods valley in westernville? Me and a friend are just getting into park (so dont expect much) and looking for some more people to ski/board with. plan to ski so much this year, cannot wait for snow to hit.

Aye, my man!

I grew up here with season passes for a few years..Woods just came under new ownership about 2 seasons ago. The new owner is really on board with "Park progression"

...but the mountain is limited by the park manager who is stuck in 2007 where a method 540 was THE SHIT in snowboarding...So this kid keeps builds somewhat basic even when the riders send in designs and park plans that we would like to see. HOWEVER..They are coming along, slowly but surely. New rails and boxes keep popping up. Tim (the owner) even sent Justin (Park Manager) to Cutter's Camp at Mount Snow a couple years ago. To be honest, he came back with next to no improvement in creativity or execution of builds.

But like I said, they're coming along.

What I like bet is that Tim is REALLY open to listening to what you want to make happen at WV. If you approach him respectfully, he'll let you do basically whatever you want with a shovel and appreciates you helping out wherever you'd like to.

Can't wait to ride with you, PM me when the season rolls around and we can take some laps!

Enjoy your fall!

Sometime after Thanksgiving and probably before Christmas! I don't have a season's pass...I was thinking of just scooping up tickets wherever the snow was good but nothing beats being 30 minutes from leaving my house to the top of the hill..

Still trying to weigh this out

Yeah thats pretty nice, im probably 40 mins from house to top of hill so not to far off, i got a season pass this year hoping that it will be similar to last yearrr.. hopefully. Either way i plan to ski durring the week and just about every weekend at woods unless me and my friend decide to go to gore/whiteface/killington. I might just hit up killington in late november for some early season skiing. Who knows, well see.

Spot on description of woods. They have the resources, but not the brains. Still a pretty fun place to take some laps. Their jumps are wack tho. You might see me once or twice around there around Christmas time but I've since moved from the syracuse area to utah for college.

I went end of season the year before last. Just a few rails but it was a good time. Ill be living an hour away by oak but will probably go there and snoe ridge once kr twkce through tbe season
