Helping my girlfriend find new skis. Everything is pink or super girly or has some fruity ass bird on it. Line skis and faction come to mind. Do women actually like this shit? Honestly I think its offensive and my girlfriend does too. Anything cool out there 100-110 underfoot? Theres like 2 girls on here so Im prob not gonna get any responses. Just looking for something that wasnt designed for an 8 year old.

Thank you! I will ask her. Im a little nervous tho shes sooooo hot!

Good luck with that!! Heard she’s the classic ski girl whore. But if you can tame her then salute to you.

I’d absolutely trade my highlighter colored topsheet graphic for the one the candide mademoiselle has. But yeah, the flowery graphics are hella lame.

With faction the girls skis are the same as the guys with different tops. Do what my mom did and just buy guys skis

Moment's women's line looks sweet and I honestly contemplated getting one of the new ON3P Jessie topsheets on a new custom pair of my own. Quick cruise of some other companies and a bunch have non-pink women's options. 4frnt, Armada and Line have plenty of non-pink options in their women's lines.

Best of luck, you definitely have options out there from good companies.

Bought skis for my gf not too long ago. She was really interested in the mademoiselles but also digged Armada’s victa graphics. I thought the black ARW graphics this year were pretty sick. The 2019 empress was low key fire too imo and she liked it a lot.

So this season I got the 18/19 108 Jessies (sidenote they are absolutely unreal to ski on, if they are within your girlfriends price range she should get Jessies!)and the topsheets on them are pretty sick to be honest! Not super girly which is such a nice change from all the other women's skis out there for sure, and I got heaps of compliments on them from all my mates. Irritatingly I almost prefer the new 19/20 Jessie topsheets though.. ! Again they very much are not girly and flowery etc, your girlfriend should definitely look into getting a pair !

I honestly like most of them...

I’m not super girly but I like pink. I don’t need “bad ass” graphics just for the sake of them being bad ass(unless I actually like them). I can embrace a little feminity in graphics. Not like rainbows and butterfly type shit but I can do pink/blue/purple.

my mother has some icelantic maidens they have really cool topsheets and come in the size you’re looking for

Moment women's topsheets are pretty cool, I like the Sierra topsheet. Also Armada has some nice topsheets. Or just get men's skis if you can.

It sucks because her sponsors are about to drop her for not being attractive anymore!

Omg good !! If she does hard tricks then so do the other girls . No hard tricks !!!

As stated Moment, On3p, Icelantic...also Black Crows Birdie line has good understated graphics. Does your lady ski park? I assume your not looking for a straight up park ski given you stated 100-110 waist but is a full twin in order?

My girlfriend really likes the Black Crow Atris Birdie because they are really stable but also maneuverable. She tried a few narrower skis before she got to those (Line Soulmate 92, Faction Prodigy 96, Moment Hot Mess, Rossignol Temptation 88). Whenever she's on the moment hot mess, she gets a bunch of compliments from random people for the topsheet.

As I said earlier I cant find this ski. the mademoiselle sold out in like an hour. find me some

will be available in the 19/20 range, both a CT 2.0 and 3.0. (3.0 will be a 112 underfoot)

How tall is she? If you are looking for a 100-110 waist ski then I assume you want something all mountain or more pow oriented. In that case she should have an easy pick of most men's ski. I'm only 5'2 and wouldn't dream of skiing anything shorter than 170 for all mountain riding, and there are plenty of 170 length men's skis. With how much rocker and tip taper they tack onto all-mountain skis these days you really need to size up a lot compared to what you would ride back in the full camber days. Don't let her make the mistake of getting something too short, a ski that is too short is a nightmare to try to float powder in, and it makes you work extra hard to stay stable in chop and crud. I feel like this is one of the reasons you don't see women charging as much, they are frequently on skis way too short for them. Even Blister gear review says beginners on modern skis should have a ski the same height as them. Assuming she's 5'2 and short like me that means she's 157-158cm tall. Now assuming shes not a beginner then she should be a whole size range up from that which puts her at the 168ish range, plenty of options there.

I also hate how girly the women's ski graphics are, it's one of the many reasons I stopped buying women's skis.

Shorter dude skis seems to be the solution. I think its all mental with the 170 range for her. She can def handle the length. no pun intended. She is a good skier in all conditions. she is on 167s right now its basically the same. It would be an inbounds one ski quiver cause she has a touring rig too.

Yo, girl here. I love my Head Ultralights. Not girly, straight white with some blue actually. Most of their skis I’ve seen follow that trend.

My sister is on the 98 W and loves them. They have a subtle top sheet and can handle most conditions

Especially the supershapes. Definitely put those on the list, not 100-110mm but can do it all regardless. Shred the groomers and float the pow.
