Women's Ski with Early Rise?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a ski for my girlfriend, she is 5'2" 120lbs and she is a beginner/intermediate skiier. This year she is getting a season pass to Squaw so she will hopefully be progressing a lot - I'm not familiar with women's skis at all so I was hoping someone could make a recommendation for a good women's ski. I think it would be nice to have some early-rise or rocker to it for the deeper days. Something in the 85-90mm waist...150cm +/- ....any recommendations or feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!

those will probably be her next skis ....just a little too fat for where she is ability wise...

Take a look at the rossignol bc110. It's the same ski as the s7, but in the 159 has a 96mm waist. It would be perfect for a intermediate Squaw skier.

What I'm hearing is Voodoo BC110 or the MissBehaved...anyone know how short the 110 skis? I would be going with a 159 110 or a 149 MissBehaved...thanks

What about the Volkl Kiku? It has volkl's ELP rocker. Not sure how stiff of a ski it is though.

The bc110 skis shorter for sure, very easy to learn on with a shorter sidecut. Amptek rocker makes it a great ski for the deep pow, but still has plenty of sidecut/camber for harder snow.

Check this out too, Rossi offers a performance guarantee on all there skis, try the ski for 3 days and if she is not 100% satisfied, she can exchange for a different model.

I can assure you it's the right ski for your lady.

Womens s7 would be super easy to ski, but if she is still really learning how to ski, a fat ski may not be the best thing for her, something like the arw might suit her better, as far as teaching her how to carve and ski varied condition snow. Then getting something like the line pandora as apow ski would be a perfect quiver for her. The other concern that I would have ia that if u bought her a pow oriented ski now it might not be the appropriate length for her in a year or so when she gets better, where as there would always be a good use for a mid length allmtn ski like the arw
