sup ladies!

I started skiing last year, I would say I'm a level 2 skier, can do most blues and blacks, starting messing around in the park a little bit and would like a pair of skis that are lightweight and durable that will help me gain confidence on the slopes. I would like a pair of all mountain twin tips new or lightly used. looking for recommendations on what skis you ladies have tried and liked and what your favorite all mountain skis to ride regularly are. p.s. been snowboarding the past 8 years and decided to give the sticks a try the past few years, really picking it up last season. I rented a pair of K2 159's and missdemenors and I liked them because they were solid and easy to learn on but I'm looking for something softer in flex and wider around 100-110 underfoot. I also will be teaching skiing this year and need something that's a one quiver ski type. any suggestions are appreciated! thank you and happy skiing :)

I am 5'3

I came really close to buying a pair, really loved them when I demoed them, but then I demoed Volkl Gotama's and ended up buying those instead. I've demoed tons of skis and the Gotama's are my favorite all mountain freeride skis of all time. The only downside is that the full rocker makes them wash out in on jumps in the park, so if you wanted to be able to ski park on them they aren't so great (and honestly they straight air just fine, but spins are no bueno). For all mountain freeride however, they can't be beat. They love to bust through crud and take sketchy drops into bullshit landings like a champ, as well as being surfy in moderate amounts of pow (if it's a foot or more I'm breaking out the dedicated pow sticks).

For teaching you'd probably want something with some camber though, and that would also allow you to ski some park. Thus the Peacemakers would be a great choice, blizzard is making some great skis these days. If you were willing to go down to a 98 waist my jack of all trades ski is the Faction Prodigy, which I would recommend to anyone looking for that type of ski.

If you really liked the missdemeanors you should consider getting the big brother, the shredditor 102 (remedy 102 is the same ski just with the female topsheet, so take your pick). K2 definitely makes very ski-able skis.
