It's my grandparents 80 birthday this winter so I will be down in Alamosa for a week. I think I'm gonna ski Wolf Creek because its only like an 45 minutes away. Anyone know what its like?

I drove by there the other day. It looked like it would be a sweet place to spend a couple of days. It didn't look terribly big. My mom just moved to Pagosa Springs, so I'll probably check it out this winter sometime too.

dude wolf creek is the awesome dope shit - you can find fresh like two fucking weeks after a storm and no one EVER goes there so there are no lines and they have a high speed quad that opened like five years ago that made the mountain like twice as big. If you're looking for park it's kind of lacking but you won't care because the skiing is soooooooooooo sick.

bottom line it's probably my favorite mountain in colorado....i'm not a huge park skier but i love pow and trees. my girlfriend and i ate boomers last time i was there (spring break) and had the craziest time ever.

you WILL love it and you WILL NOT want to leave

true there are no ppl there but i think it gets boring as hell after like half a day unless there is 2 foot of fresh. too much like monarch.

haha armadas last 2 weeks.

Alright, I've been skiing Wolf Creek for 16 years and I know what it's like. Wolf Creek is the best mountain in Colorado....on a pow day. Last year, in three days 52' fell and it was epic up there. If there is no pow, it can be good. Depends on what you like. A lot of people build their own hits up there and some of them rival terrain park hits....only with powder. Wolf Creek is definately worth it, once again, especially on a powder. I know almost everyone up there and they are like family to me. I grew up in Monte Vista (16 miles from Alamosa) and I have never had a bad day at the Wolf. rip it, it's sick

and plus WC is the place for early season riding. Is there any other resort in America open on Halloween on 100% natural snow??? Not usually. Wolf Creek consistantly opens around halloween, and with the premise of snow next week, it may even be earlier. Support the Wolf!

yeah I worked there last year, and I'll tell you what,, if you can get a couple of guys together you can build one heck of a BC kicker or booter, and the powder landings make it all worth it

If you get into Alamosa and need a guid to show you the sites and snow spots, drop me a line...

yeah, i was there at the beggining of the season last year, skiing like 2 feet of fresh. it was dope.

Have you ever been hit by a Uhaul?

me and my gf took shrooms there on spring break and skied two week old fresh that had been crusting over in 50 degree weather.....quite interesting.....at one point we stopped and watched the snow melt for a while.....my gf isn't that good of a snowboarder, so she fell every 20 feet, and i just went straight until i stopped, waited for her, turned around, and repeated.....and it was rediculous fun
