WME vs. Level 1 - FINAL UPDATE (hopefully!)

So, searched for an existing thread, didn't find much clarity on it, so here it is in a nutshell with links...

1. WME wins vs Warren Miller himself after Mr. Miller filed a motion to intervene in the WME vs Level 1 case. WME wins the case continuing exclusive rights to Warren Miller's name, likeness, appearance and voice as it pertains to skiing only. (dicks)

2. Colorado judge throws out case from WME against Level 1 as WME could not prove that having Mr. Miller appear in Level 1's film hurt their sales. Although the uproar caused by the lawsuit sure did. (Level 1 still has to pay legal fees, dicks)

But, as it stands now, all the shenanigans are over, but lets be honest, who's watching WME films anymore?

not me. and yes, its good to see that this is over. I think Level 1 will benefit in the long run because of all the extra exposure it got from the case.

The first link is from LAST OCTOBER 2010 and the second is from LAST JANUARY 2011... you really thought that in AUGUST 2011 no one knew? Comeon kid.

while i am super pissed at wme, im not gonna lie, this years film does look much, much, much better than their previous films...

Lets hope nobody forgets, not move past it, there's no reason to forgive WME. Anyone who knows about this and has no problem seeing a WME flick isn't a freeskier.
