Who else is going? (boulder)i got my level 1 tall tee ready, and some beers in the fridge.Any good ideas for chants/insults?
 
You're doing it wrong.

Don't got to WME repping level 1 and being a jack/dumb ass.

Go and share the story to WME Patrons. One kid was talking about making pamphlets before to hand out describing the lawsuit. Dunno if that happened, but thats the kind of stuff that should go down. Not chants/insults. Especially if you are gonna have level1 script across your chest.

and yeah this is probably a better idea. i like your enthusiasm OP but this is probably a better, more effective approach. it will probably cost you like 20 bucks to print up a bunch of fliers at staples or something.
 
like the other guy said before just give your ticket to a smelly homeless person if you've already bought it cause they are cold and would like to be inside
 
this is a good ideaand yea i dont wanna give level 1 a bad rep, nor do i wanna give WME any of my moneyI may try to do the pamplet thing, if i have time b/t class and the movie i will
 
WME wont benefit that much from your $15 and it will be hilarious to read about your rucus tomorrow so i think you should let loose. force them to drag you out of the theatre
 
personally, i wouldn't go and just drink all the beer in the fridge with the level 1 shirt on. don't give wme any reason to at all feel right in what they did. level 1 is classy imho. like ns
 
yea if id thought about it earlier i would have printed out the warren miller interview at a print shop and plastered it all over outside of the theater
Ive decided not to make an ass out of myself, for the sake of level 1's rep, i probably just wont end up goin...i really want that cheap ticket voucher though
 
well im retarded so it doesnt even matterits next week tuesday...fml
oh well this gives me time to print out copies of warren's interview, and yeah im liking the get smashed and make an ass outta myself, but not level 1 idea
 
Having just seen Refresh for the first time, and after already having heard about the WME lawsuit and becoming offended by WME's heinous actions against Level 1... after seeing Refresh, I am much more understanding of WME's lawsuit. I previously did not appreciate that Refresh was such a rehashing of the old school Warren Miller style of ski film with the nostalgic narration and all. To be frank, WME is understandably pissed at Warren Miller and Level 1. Still a fairly heinous lawsuit and another example of legal bullying, that is not to say the lawsuit is entirely without merit and that Warren should not have seen this coming in some respect.
 
I think you might have missed the point of having warren in the film. it wasn't to build nostalgia, it was to show there are links between the past and future of skiing and that what we are all about is just going out and having some goddamn fun.
 
refresh was comparing the duration of time between 2 types of film makers and how the both chase the same idea of fun , the lawsuit is in NO way understandable why should warren (a old man) have to double-check to see if his vocal rights are legally in check? its bullshit
