With Tim Durtschi's dub over Chads Gap...

i think it will be incredible for tanner to ski again let alone hit chads.
im gonna go out on a limb and say tanner will be sticking to skiing deeeeeep pow for while...not to bad a deal if u ask me.
 
i dont think ive ever seen t hall dub anything other than the pipe.

i also think right now hes too busy getting really really high in jamaica with cali p
 
no.it's been too many years and tanner's had too many bad injuries.i bet he's thought about it at some point, but knows it's unrealistic.it would be sick though.
 
He's got a dub rodeo 9 in his bag. And, obviously a dub backie.
Haven't seen him break out any kind of dub cork or sw dub rodeo though....I think I remember seeing him train dub cork 10 on a water ramp though....I'm not sure, could be mistaken.
But yeah, doesn't seem like he's really trained a slope run in almost 5 years. At this point, I don't know that he has the tricks to genuinely compete in slope. I don't mean as in winning, I mean like I don't think he could make finals. It's unfortunate, but I'm just about positive that T is officially over the hill in terms of his ability to compete in slope, big air, and possibly pipe.
Sure, he could lay down an excellent pipe run and get on a podium now and then, but his days of winning pipe comps are over it looks like. It's crazy how fast the changing of the guard in pipe domination occurred. Look at the winning run from 07 or even 08...then, watch Rolland's run. It's crazy.
 
dude, he swith 9nd that mo chucker, just as sick as tims dub cork in my opinion. Not to say tims shit wasnt amazing, but just hitting that thing switch is INSANE
 
Little training in big mountain skiing and he could start bringing some crazy tricks off natural features in freeride comps.
 
this. it seems like tanner has gotten way to much into the industry. hes not into shredin the park. its just comp, comp, pipe, comp, film, comp...
 
not another big mountain troll who hates park skiiers, go to TGR, there more of your style.

oh and im not dissing big mountain just most of us on here prefer freestyle.
 
haha don't be hating, it was a video where tanner said basically all the park kids are roller bladers, and that people like candide and pettit are skiing "REAL MOUNTAINS WITH REAL CLIFFS" He later apologized via NS post.

I have a lot of respect for Tanner and have Idolized him since I was young, but i think him re-hitting chad;s is just out of his league this day.
 
agreed. cab 9 was a way bigger deal--not to take anything away from the dub 10. but the cab 9 seems like it would take more skill and more balls.
 
Id think t hall will....hes had to many injury's to come back with a dub. i think he will just enjoy skiing deep pow and maybe a comp here and there
 
I think he will come back just as strong as he was before this injury, maybe stronger. I don't know if he is looking to dub Chad's, but I wouldn't be surprised if he made it back to the podium in X-Games pipe.
