Witch ski resort will open the earliest

Well OP has no idea what he is talking about...

It is a race every year. Someone will blow a ribbon of death, open for a day, get the press, and continue on.

The way the weather currently looks for the say 10 day forecast...seems like someone in CO will open first. Maybe Boreal if the pattern tweaks a bit, especially since they are a smaller resrot.
 
Kind of counts, it's only a one day opening, but if this PNW dumping could continue then we could expect some serious openings soon.
 
Oh yeah it's definitely sick, i wish i could go tomorrow. They're only opening for one day probably due to the low amount of people who can attend, low numbers of employees, and the fact that yeah the snow storm that is dumping right now is gonna pass over by like thursday, just not enough snow for some of their terrain.
 
Sunshine opening Nov 8th, pretty solid considering they don't make snow. COP usually opens sometime around that time.

After last years re do of the lower snow making equipment at the basin their system is far superior to Loveland. This isn't going to be much of a contest anymore boys and girls
 
Jesus if this is what the top of a resort on the east looked like right now I guarantee the lifts would already be going and people would be hiking to the top. As someone said i'm betting on Killington or maybe Sunday River
