Wisp rail jam this weekend?

wisp's website says they are having a rail jam this weekend, anyone know anything about it? it says it's on snow, not their magic carpet stuff.

the jam will be on snow, plan is to groom the snow out early saturday morning, 3 - 4 rails/boxes, practice starts at 10am, comp at 11am, awards/prizes to follow, even with the recent warm temps, the snow pile is still holding, shaw and the crew will have a nice setup for the event on saturday

Keep an eye on the Event Calendar. They are doing summer jams - this year they say they have twice the carpet and are putting more jibs out.

So, even after the poor attendance at these things last season.. they invested in more carpet? errr

Yeah - the park/marketing guy has a good "stoke" going on. I think that his him above dlsnow - they were very pleased with the increased attendance this year and gave specific shout-outs to the skiers who attended. Wisp is a destination resort with everything imaginable, skate park, mountain boards, rock wall, golf, kayaks, mountain biking - I am sure I missed a few other activities.

There is a definite growing trend towards artificial slopes. Bryce down in Virginia is putting a summer terrain park in, for example.

so i saw something in the add about a so called "booter" also said it was for the "pros" so if there is a booter does that mean that the general population cant sesh it or what? oh and props to wisp crew for makin a legit summer snow set
