Wise NS's, advise on summer living/work

I need guidance from the wise newschoolers on here. Once I finish out my spring semester at psu I want a 3 month summer job out west near Ca from mid May to Aug.

Now I need someone to point me in the right direction or take me under their wing. I don't mind working a summer camp at a resort or a hard job to cover living and expenses. I want to start my home base out west so this trip would let me do a lot of exploring and I'm all about the experience. I am able to transport myself out there and back. I'm majoring in entrepreneurship and risk management real estate so I would be able to apply my skills to that job. Let me know if you have any advise for me.

Honest answers would be appreciated!

Can you find or apply to any internships in fields related to yours? That'd be the best way to get out here. If you can make it happen, you could get paid for your work (to cover cost of living and more) and have your travel covered as well.

What area of CA do you want to be in? If you end up in the Bay, hit me up!

Thanks, Ive applied for 3 today located in Ca, hopefully Im trying to end up near LA or Mammoth lakes.

I also agree with trying to get an internship. It's time to stop thinking about just making money and try to make money with doing something that will help you in the future. Internships are fun. Trust me
