Wisdoms and what helment

Hey

I'm looking at buying a pair of wisdoms for this winter and I need a helment to fit them. I searched and found a lot of stuff about the wisdoms not fitting helments like the giro's unless you order a strap from oakley. I don't care about that so much, I want a helment that fits together with the top of the helment so wind doesn't blow onto my head, if you understand that.

So if the wisdoms are deffently not the way to go what combo should I order? Crowbars and soemthing? Thanks for reading, and don't flame about not searching because I did.

get crowbars. better goggle, fit with a helmet way better. the wisdom is a fog machine too. go with the crowbars for sure.

meh, I have the wisdoms and I wear a bad lieutenant and they fit fine if you wear them under the helmet. As for them fogging up, mine have never fogged up. Pretty decent goggles if you ask me. Great field of vision. You're pretty limited to the Bad Lieutenant though.

Same here. Who wants to wear goggles under your helmet though? I had wisdoms and they didn't work at all with my k2 helmet. I had to wear them underneath as said above which sucked because I could never take them off without taking my helmet off, and even then the plastic tab things always got in the way. I think A frames are a way more comfortable goggle, like no comparison at all. And the optical quality I can tell no differnece at all.

Thanks for the posts so far. So about the strap from oakley, is it just a longer strap so it can fit around helments? Is that the delima everyone is having? And can anyone answer my question about wisdoms fitting snug against the front of a helment?

Cheers,

i had wisdoms last year with giro bad lt. it was a pretty good set up iam selling a bad lt. used for only 15 days if u are interested

The dilema I had is this: instead of a normal strap that comes out of the side of the frame. There are these hard plastic tabs that attach the strap to the frame. These tabs contact the helmet, which lifts the goggle off of your face effectively ruining the facial seal. Capiche? Wisdoms are lame IMO, the whole construction of them is this hard plastic that is not pliable at all and is not comfortable. They also sit very far off your face.

However, hehe^those look sick I must say. See how there is that plastic tab on the strap, it was fully frontin' my flavor. There is a different strap you can get for a helmet but I never tried it, I was over the goggles completely, and I returned them and got some less expensive and better A frames.

I have wisdom and i think that the best goggles i've ever had

You could look for briko helmets, mine is briko and it fits perfect, just as if was prepared for it
