Wiping inside of Crowbars

So in another thread it was said that you shouldn't wipe the inside of your crowbars... But what do you do if you got snow in it, and now that it's dried it's left streaks in there that are pretty noticable while you're wearing them?

I am pretty sure Oakley mentions this on there site about the goggle bag. But you should let the snow melt and lightly dab on the water instead of rubbing.

yea I know but now that it's all dried up the water's left streaks inside my goggles, and I dunno what to do. Thanks though!

Haha. You are allowed to wipe the inside with the goggle cloth once they are dry. The antifog is not softened by water so there is nothing to worry about. Just don't go to town and buff the shit out of them.

Alright awesome thanks! Will the streaks come out with just rubbing them? Don't I have to get the lenses wet again before I can remove the scratches?

I've never wiped my lense, but it still seems to get fogged really easy. i always just dab it. I guess you really have to be careful

im pretty sure your only not supposed to wipe it if it is fogged on the inside because it will wipe off the anti-fog stuff

your goggle came with proper instructions and warnings about how to clean and maintain your goggle...
don't wipe the inside with anything else than the microfiber cloth and don't wipe when its wet...

Thanks for the info guys!

I know it comes with instructions that say "don't wipe when wet" but other people have said "NEVER wipe your goggles so I was just making sure". I wiped them last night anyways after it was 100% dry and they look fine. Also, the only time I ever wiped them without the cloth was with a tissue when i was desperate and i only blotted so it shouldn't have affected it much.

+k for all!

just make sure its dry when you wipe it with the microfiber cloth bag that you got with them. otherwise, it takes off the film on the lens that seperates them from high/low quality
