k. im going to the U of U this fall and we get some time off around christmas time.

i want to do a road trip to a ski resort in colorado.

i want to go to a resort more known for powder than park.

get a good powder experience.

which resort has way good powder?

help me please.

thanks.

your at u of u. u have alta snowbird brighton solitude park city and others. and you wanna leave? but in colorado.. if you hit steamboat during a storm its epic tree skiing.

i have been riding all those places for a while for a while except alta cuz i cant.

but i want to go somewhere out side utah.

well if you want some sick pow skiing and your bored with utah... id say go more west than east... like baker or batch... i would never go more east of here to find better pow skiing... maybe go to colorado for some sick park days but thats about it..

sorry im an east coaster and no nothing about pow....but i gotta know....why cant your ride alta??

nope... alta will never change that rule... there are now only 3 resorts left in the counrty that do not allow snowboarding... alta, deer valley, and mad river glen... taos lifts their ban this season..

dude hit up CB before december 15 if their doin that free lift tick thing again i might be takin a road trip out there for it

i would go more west but colorado ski areas are like a 6-7 hour drive so thats why i want to go to colorado ski areas.

if ur lookin for pow id stick with utah, CO doesnt get dumps as big as Utah. But if you go to CO for terrain / pow, do crested butte, silverton, wolf creek, or steamboat

ive lived in both and i can guarantee you the best pow is in utah, loads more of it. if you have money go to silverton. wolf creek gets dumped on too, close to as much as utah gets. also steamboat would be good

i would love to go there. i could go there. but im driving and i dont want to spend hella lots of bollars on gas. i think i could get to colorado areas on less then one tank of gas.
