Getting up at 6:00 am getting everything nice and tuned and waxed.
Polish up the goggles real nice and get all gear set out and triple check that everything is there.
Sit down to some eggs and coffee, it's still dark outside. Some white stuff is sprinkling down.
Pop on all the stretchy stuff and work on getting nice and stretched out.
Turn on the floodlights and pop my skis onto forester. Push the seats down and toss all the gear into the back.
Grab another cup of coffee and turn all the lights off and jump into the car.
Heat all the way up, jams playing, and window down. 15 over and headed up north.
Pick up squad half an hour later. No words are spoken, we all know what's coming.
Finish off the last 15 minutes silent. Come over the crest of a hill and we can see the mountain.
Pull in. Not a single car but ours. Park in the first spot. Snow machines blowing big white clouds.
Walk in slowly, lifts don't open for another 15 minutes. Get the season passes printed and strapped on.
Drop the skis on the freshest groomers of the season.
Click in.
