Winter Recovery Rail Jam

Hey Everybody,

Perfect North Slopes is going to have a rail jam on Saturday January 20th @ 7:00pm. With this cold snap that may have finally hit us we will have plenty of snow to have a jam, and the name reflects our hope that winter is back for good. The Entry Fee right now is undecided because we're waiting to see how good the prizes are going to be, but it will either be $5 or $10. Prizes may range from a pair of skis or board for the respective categories to some sunglasses or goggles from smith, marker, or spy, and some debit cards for food, loft shop and lift tickets to perfects. Helmets are required so don't bitch and say you don't have one or you forgot just bring one, if you must, we have helmets for rent, but I would try and bring one. More importantly it should be a good time, with a nice setup. So I hope you all can make it down to Perfect North Slopes on the 20th of January.

sounds fun. but, if we are in building mode, i might have to stay up at trails and work that park into shape. well see. either way, its SKI TIME
 
Yeah we're having the MWX again which is something like the 24th of February, which aside from the whole MWX thing the contest will be awesome, the jump will be good, and we're working on laying out the park for some really good flow for the rail jam.

Aside from MWX we'll be having another big air that i have yet to nail a date down yet, but i'm thinking that maybe on one of the MWX off weeks we could have one or after its over. I would like to get in contact with some of the other places and not schedule them at the same time as other events. I hate having contests on the same day.

I am also trying to throw together some other stuff... like an all female rail jam with maybe a sponsorship up for grabs... and someone mentioned something like Friday Night Fights which i think i saw on here somewhere that someone else holds, but those sound fun... So anyway i'm hoping to hold some more events and stuff soon. As all of you know the weather has sucked ass for the first half of the season so there wasn't much of an opportunity for anythings. So i'll keep you all posted and i really hope you all can make it down for the Winter Recovery Rail Jam Next weekend.

its gonna be amazing at the winter recovery jam. a foot of snow last night is gonna help a whole lot. and there is still 3 more nights of snowmaking
 
Two....... one at PNS, one at Cascade. PNS will prolly be March 17 and 18th.......Cascade will be 24th and 25th. I recommend going to both.
 
wow huge prizes for the winners of this. i looked at the packages for the winners my boss put together and they are sick as hell.
 
Just got finished with most of the set-up and i think its pretty sick. So here's the set up skier's right to left...

Staircase w/ Down Kink and Decending Box (As of Tomorrow)

Double Kink

Roller Coaster

30' Flat Box Decending with an urban and regular kicker

Up to Flat kink rail with a gap to down rail

Round Bar set up as an Up Rail

And then we should have a C-Rail set up near the Start self that i built today.

So thats that and i think it's pretty neat. As posted i'm pretty stoked on the prizes too. Its going to be super busy tomorrow so i think we'll have a nice crowd to watch and i'm really hoping that a lot of people get in the contest. Hope ot see you all there.

sounds so sick! i was up there until about 3pm and the setup was so sick, but i had to come home early, so i wont be there. is there going to be any video/footage of the rail jam? id really like to see some and im bummed i had to miss it!
