Ive been trying to have a big project every winter to keep me sane. Last winter i built this bike.

this winter I want to do some mods on the jet ski i bought last summer. Its a '84 kawasaki js440. I bought some 550 pistons and cylinders to drop into it to beef it up. Im doing that next month. But I also want to clean up the exterior. Im thinking of doing a wrap versus paint so I dont have to worry about spraying it on thick enough or scratching. Any ideas for an eye catching wrap job?

If found some super cheap ones on ebay that I might try for a summer. ex:

or should I go for a retro look with neon green/orange/pink?

I cant decide

Make it look like a fighter jet. Or like a water camo.

Both of these would be dope. Digital camo would be dope. Sticker bomb would be dope.

But of all these things, painting it like an orca would be the dopest.

im really liking this wrap

but it would be about $200 to wrap the jet ski. and im not wanting to put that much into it.

Any other ideas?

Jelly of your projects man. A bobber and jet ski have always been on my to do list, but my obsession for old bmw's fills my garage already..

I'd stay away from any prints, you will get sick of it in a month and peel it off. Just do solid colors. The retro look is my fav in this thread so far, but any two tone would look good. If you really want a print get the vintage padding for your knees. I like the prints and colors that came on the Yamaha wave blasters from the factory.

hello kitty stickerbomb for sure, you would definitely look very cool and not like a complete cockhead

haha SO i do vinyl wrapping to pay my way through college and things. a friend of mine who owns a wrap shop wrap (envision) wrapped 2 of his stand ups with that fighter jet shark face bullshit, so that wouldnt be origional so to speak. i say do it to look like some sort of funny animal er something. and lastly, dont bother using shitty ebay vinyl. itll last 1 day. use 3m or avery laminated wrap material only and edge seal the shit out of it with laminate tape. the latest thing i did was a client's bentley to look like a watermelon

That watermelon whip needs a splash of chicken somewhere. I'm about to pull the trigger on some vinyl from carwrapsupplier.com for my e30. Was pretty impressed with the sample I got from them. Never wrapped anything before should be fun.
