you should go to keystone or breck, winter park was a disapointment when i was there a couple weeks ago. and the so called steeps people claim are pretty weak, at least compared to where im from (washington).
I was supposed to go up friday but that truck crashed. Can't go saturday or sunday because my mom won't drive me. Just one of the disappointments of being 15.
ya man, the crash was in georgetown, which is just after the exit for winter park. i heard from a ski patrol that the wind chill got down to -60 during the day anyway. sounded like a bad day to go up
Yeah. WP is always cold. They never get sun over there. Probably better that I didn't go because my coats not too warm and my pants aren't that great either.
yes i skied jane, you people need to get over yourselves. wp and summit & eagle counties have no legitimate leift accessed steeps (haven't had much of a chance to go sledding or snowshoing around the BC)
seriously they are like 100 yards long. i can just bomb right down them...that is if they are open which they never seem to be. I skied Jane every weekend when i was younger. Their parks are usually fun and the mogul skiing is the best you will ever find...also some fun trees. Nothing super gnarly though.
see, that's what i thought. im not the biggest bumper, so that's not a draw for me, the park was fun, but it wasn't what it was hyped to be, though i really liked bonking that stallion. a-basin has some stuff that''s good, but you have to be willing to hike, and unfortunately, a lot of the stuff that has potential doesn't hold snow very well.
