no, but building analysis based on past trends this far ahead of time is part of the whole process. absolutely no reason that we shouldn't talk about it, especially for those of us who absolutely love weather.
Lookin to do some sweet whirly birds, backscratchers, and pipe grinding! Just picked up a new pair of skis from the mountain. They were clearling out old rental gear. Next year is honna be sweeeet!!!
hahahahah, fuck this summer shit i've had enough already. Just want it to be winter. This would be sick if it was true. HYPEHYPEHYPEHYPEHYPEHYPEHYPEHYPEHYPEHYPE
In all seriousness, believing that or the farmer's almanac is about as good as believing me when I say next year will be the best winter for decades for snowfall.
judging by the way they made "above average" bolded in the east, im gonna assume that means a lot more snow than usual. they better be right, they made this same prediction last year and look how that turned out....
well this is a site for skiing. and last I heard skiing involved snow, which is a type of weather pattern. Also, as I said above discussing trends for complete analysis is part of the process.
These predictions are always terrible... last winter in the continental 48 was supposed to have "slightly above average snowfall" and look what happened. Pretty much everyone got jack shit.
