Winter Internship

Hey guys,

I already did a similar thread a while ago, but didn't really get any good responses to it.

I am looking for a company/organization in the field of environmental protection that offers internships to foreign students (I am from Germany)in the upcoming winter semester (starting jan 1st up to mid of march). Duration of the internship should be anything above 4 weeks.

I am currently studying to become a "safety engineer" with focus on environmental protection.

It would be awesome if one of you guys would know a place within the US (or Canada) that would offer such a thing.

I tried finding something with the help of my university, but they only have contacts to other American universities, not companies or organizations.

I also tried finding stuff on my own, but it appears to pretty damn hard to find something like that using the internet.

+k for all legit responses!

pm me if you need more details!

honestly your not going to find shit on here.....do some hard research and just develop a list of companies you want to work for and contact them. Email the bosses/managers, not the employees. Also your prob going to need to pay for your own housing.

Another great idea could be to do it through a u.s. affiliated university that your study abroad program uses im sure there us is an option for study abroad

I know I am probably not gonna find much on here, but I thought it might be worth a try, long shot, I know. I think it might be too late for me too look for something throught my university, since that stuff takes an awefull lot of time here. Plus, they normally want all sorts of english tests and shit before you get anywhere. So I think I have to find something directly.

Also, I dont even need a payed internship, I know I will have to pay for my own housing, and I will however still get the salary from the company I work for over here in Germany.

Thanks for your reply though!
