What will be the winning trick at the big air? Im going to be kinda pissed when harlaut gets it again. I understand that it is extremely difficult, but i would prefer to see gagnier further progressing with his double bio.

i wouldn't say lame...he's only done the trip like 3 (?) times. But I agree that I'd be more stoked to see vinnie or someone else step it up with something new instead of a repeat of the last three years

I was just thinking about this last night, op. I feel the same away about the nose butter triple. It's sick, but I'd like to see a breath of fresh air in the event.

Did anyone last year have multiple triples in their bag? I would hate to see it become a triple fest (unless it's some crazy, unique rotation/grab) but I think that two different triples will be what it takes to win this year.

Or a bunch of Jossi's triples...in my opinion, that is the only triple that has been done with style so far.

Brown has quite some triples but his style is just mweh. Kenworthy has some too

Its definitely unrealistic to think that Henrik will win with just his trip 16, but you have to take into account what else he is capable of. For example, the trailer of Road to Zion had atleast three shots of Henrik doing banger jump tricks that i've never seen him throw. Taking this into consideration I would have to say that Henrik has a pretty good chance of defending his title and completing the threepete. This being said, I would love to see somebody like Vinny or some other darkhorse take it with some next level shit! As long as Jesper doesnt win with his stupid switch 1 to triple whackflip ill be stoked.
 
Don't get me wrong i think Henrik is one of the dopest skiers on the planet but his nose butters can be super lame. Sometimes they are legit but others there is almost no press its just a hurried 180 before take off.

Did I read right? Newschoolers is getting tired of nose butter triples winning gold...

sounds like a ridiculous statement but it does feel old when basically the same trick wins two years in a row. I think we were just spoiled in how much the pros have progressed in the pass few years.

Anyone who has seen a good nose butter knows you can see those tips flex hard. In fact, if your good enough your tails shouldn't even touch the ground, and yes im talking about doing them off of jumps not just knuckles.

There are some guys out there that can throw the most incredible nose butter 7's which may not be as hard as a triple per say but they certainly are harder in the take off.

Show me one good video where Henrik really lays down a hard butter, i have never seen him seriously pull ANYTHING Delorme-esk.

Seriously fucking stupid on here sometime, I think henrik is an incredible skier but you say one fucking critique and every one starts sucking the dudes dick.

and yes i can butter.

his first dub off the knuckle was pretty dope. same with parkers. i understand how incredibly hard it is to do off a big jump, but i think they look a lot better off the knuckle.
 
Vinny got fucking robbed at last years. He deserved gold. Henny is one of my favorite skiers, but his big air game is way overpalyed. Genie/octo grab dub bios are 10x harder than nose bud trip. Hennys first nose trip was a legit nose butter tripple. His one last year was pretty much an excuse for "spin early off the jump".

With that being said, i want to see ABM do some crazy shit.

Exactly people over hype the fuck out of his nose buds its like a buzz word or something.

Also his nose buds can be inconsistent, some times they are on point other times they are shuffled as fuck. Although the tail presses he introduced last year seemed pretty solid.

I can't do either but just by seeing that not many double bios are done and triple corks are done very often i'd say double bio is a lot harder

It seems like grabs (and screamin Seamens) are always underplayed in the x games and it's really annoying.
