Windells summer camp worth it?

I keep thinking about going Momentum camp this summer, I know the best way to improve is by copying the pro's, but when you take into account it's only 1 week and it's just so damn expensive (I gotta pay for flights from the UK as well)- is it worth it? How much can you actually learn in a single week

For the same price I could spend a month or two on the glacier in Zermatt or Les 2 Alps and teach myself.

If you just want to ski I wouldn't go to Windells (or any other camp either). If you want to have a camp experience eg. take part in the activities and hang out in a sick ranch after some skiing it's a pretty cool place. $/ski time wise it isn't that great, although the park is sick.

It depends. If you have a solid base and a drive to really progress i would say its worth it. When i went to coc i didnt learn much and i believe if i would have went a year later i would have learned a ton more because i was more confident with the basics by then.

It's expensive but it's worth it. It's some of the best skiing and most fun I've ever had.

As for a summer setup, I'd say just pick up another sport instead, like skateboarding or rollerblading. A skatepark is way more fun than a 15 foot pvc rail with turf to slide on. A backyard setup during the winter though is a good way to get better, and you'll get just as good as if you had a summer setup

I'm gonna say summer setup but pick up some other summer activities too. Skateboarding or blading would be fun. I rarely touch my setup anymore but in the summer I love slacklining which helps a ton with balance and mountain biking is great exercise too. Then finish a mountain bike ride with some cliff jumping and boom, you got a perfect summer training routine for the olympics.

You could teach yourself but you wouldn’t get to meet pros, have fun with friends and meet new people. At camp you meet new people who are fun to hike rails with or screw around with, unlike being by yourself. They also have coaches and tramps there.

Windells was one of the best weeks of my entire life. Thought people might be stuck up, rich and snobby but just about everyone was a true homie. Made sooo many new friends and learned a bunch of new tricks. All the pros/coaches were so nice and helpful it was so sick. And if you like skating or tramping (who tf doesn’t lol) then you can literally never get bored. I wasn’t in my cabin at all unless I was sleeping. Well worth the $2000 (and I saved/worked for it) definitely recommend doing it at least once.

I haven’t really been on a tramp for like 2 years, and do a backflip on one but never been to a trampoline that is like the ones in 5th dimension, do you think I could use the one windells has?
