Windells Camp Upgrades to a Handle Tow
Not ONly One - BUt we are getting Two. AFter Recent News that Another Nearby (right next to us) camp wants to follow in Our Foot Steps, Windells Owner makes the Announcement - " We are going to get Two Handle Tows" One To Service Jumps and Jibs and the Other to Service Halfpipe and jumps. You Get the Picture.

Also - This Summer is looking Good as Hood is in the Middle of a Massive Snow Storm.....4 Feet and Counting.

holly shit! thats sooo hot. i mean thats perfect fl weather but shit that soo hot.

since im interested in going to one of the camps out there over the summer, i wathced their vid and there are some people in fuckin jackets. there obiously out of their minds
 
its not always gonna be that hot. like at the main base yea its gonna be in the 70s 80s but when ur on the glacial mountain in which all the snow is real. its gonna be colder. The temperature is probably perfect to ski with. In the 07 first session. They got pounded with snow and it was in june bro.
 
Now thats what im tlaking about. im beyond stoked, never been skiing in the summer. let alone seen snow in the summer
 
I hope the snow chills i dont want to go skiing in a park pilled with pow. but im so pumped anyway its going to be sick this year
 
i forget what the temp is like but it is normally not 70s (i think)

Mt Hood is getting shit with snow. they have over 50 in of snow since monday night
 
i was curiouse as to which sesh u were going so i decided to check windells and there arent any starting on the 10th of july
 
just did some night skiing last night at skibowl on hood and there was a foot of powder and it is still snowing so summer seshs going to be epic for sure this year.
 
im sooo stoked.

how far do they help you progess your skills. for example, if im a beginner/intermidiate skiier who can do at most a 3, what will i be able to accomplish in 3weeks at windells?
 
3 weeks = 3 sessions = your gonna pay a lot of money = you must be rich then. haha no offense.
you'll learn a lot. My friend who was just the same skill level who can only do a 360 came back and he can easily do mute 5's and almost mute 7's. He could only 90 onto a rail and now he can do 270 on 180 halfway and 270 or 450 off. You learn a lot
 
well dad's bustin his balls to send me off, and im workin mad hard in school so i can go, i live in fl so i dont get to ski much, and i really want to progress in the park and this is kinda the only way to really do it.

i denfinetly wont say im rich but i wont say im livin in a cardboard box if you know what i mean
 
yea same deal with me with the house bro. i recommend one session and see how you like it. If your lovin it, go next summer. I def. goin next summer with all my friends. Then maybe we can meet up. Im not the best person out there too. But its probably not worth going for three sessions. You'll end up paying a lot of money and you might not like but ii almost certainly guarantee you will. 1 sessions fine because you dont even do much skiing yourself as you said. You'll have a fun time and one sesh will be perfect for how much you ski. People who are local or have a lot of money usually stay for more sesh's but they're usually pretty dope skiers. I say you do what i told you and you'll be just fine. But you also have to consider plane tickets, bags and all that. A one way ticket from connecticut to oregon is 350 dollars so youd be around 500 to 600 one way. Take my advice and you'll be just fine.
 
SIck Im goen sesh 4, I am wondering what ability to sign up for intermediate or beginner, off med size kickers I can 1 and also switch 1, a 360 mute, regular 90 on 90 off rails and some other misc stuff. This is my first year at park and with all the stuff I can do I am super clean and consistent. can someone just let me know what ability to sign up for. thanks ++++++++++++++karma.
 
Ok in my 1st year of park I can 360 180 sw180 almost 540 and almost lincoln loop. Im going to windells this summer how much stuff do u think i could learn? like what tricks?
 
you'll learn a lot trust me. You'll get those 5's perfect and those lincolns perfect. some sick 270s on and off(thats if you can hit rails)
 
ok i hate to say it but you're not going to automatically come home 10 times better. you're going to have to work hard to do so but if that happens you should get better for sure.
