What up Mitten/Midwest NSers, I know it might be a long shot, but is anyone here selling a winch? Looking around at the various companies that produce them, me and the crew just don't have the money to buy a new $1600+ one at the moment. If anyone has a winch, professionally built or homemade, used/new, whatever, that they would consider selling, please shoot me a PM.

I would be more than willing to drive out to where you are to pick it up/meet half way. If anyone's interested, please get in contact with me

just look up "how to build a wakeboard winch". Lots of different plans. I didn't use specific plans per-say, but just copied other people's designs.

Basically it has:

-Welded steel frame

- 9hp Honda clone engine(lifan)

- torque converter(clutch can be used, tc are better tho)

- Spool

-1000 feet of line

And mine has also wheels, and a battery because I have an electric start engine.
 
Cost me around 900 but could be built for cheaper if you used a 6.5hp engine instead and a clutch. You could probably build one in the 500 range
