I'm designing a winch for an engineering class that I'm in. I'm trying to get some feedback from the potential market on what types of things you guys would like to see in a tow in winch. For example: price range, top speed, type of motor or anything else you can think of.

use a 6 hp motor with a torque converter, that would haul ass! if u want to save money on the motor check out harbour frieght they have one for 100 bucks
 
small, light, easy to start, fuel efficient, quiet, standard waterski grip (ie. very grippy), less than $300
