We here at TGR's evil

corporate HQ here in Jackson Hole are sitting on an iTunes download codefor Way Of

Life, which, you know, is an incredible ski film (that we might have made...).

At any rate, we're putting on a host of contests across our social platform

under the "Way Of Life Crisis" contest banner. We know that despite

our awesome heli-filmed coverage of everything totally epic in the snow world,

the embarrassing and hilarious moments in the ski and snowboard lifestyle are

as much a part of the reality, and the appeal, as the most radical pow day.

That's why we want you mags to reveal to us your most

embarrassing moment in the NS forums. Whether it was posting a thread in the

absolute wrong place, making an asinine comment that got you torn up for page

after page, or starting a thread with a ridiculous question ("How do they

make the moguls?!?"), we want to hear about it and celebrate all the

hilarious comic tragedy of navigating this legendary portal of the shred internet.

Post a quick summary with a link to the thread concerned by this Friday,

November 1st at Noon MST and at that time we'll give out a free download of

Way Of Life to the most embarrassing, hilarious, or awkward moment from the

annals of these forums.

Not willing to suffer a little public humility? Well you'll

just have to buy the damn movie on iTunes or pick up the DVD/Blu-Ray pack. If

your forum history is a little too sordid or makes you a little too red in the

face, you can try and win downloads by revealing more generally embarrassing

moments in the shred life on our Twitter / Instagram / Tumblr / Pinterest /

Newsletter. Can't wait to see what comes through!

My most embarssing moment was showing up to a TGR premiere and everyone there was munching on granola and I didnt have any.. I looked so ridiculous.

To anyone who hasn't seen Way of Life yet, definitely go see it. It's up there with the best movies this year.
 
Most embarrassing moment:

trying to embed a video when someone else failed, and failing myself.
 
After 4-5 years I came back to the NS account I made at the beginning of college. Was so embarrassed of everything that I posted that I had to create a new NS account. I'm only slightly less of an idiot, but at least there is no longer extensive evidence proving it.
 
On time I was on NS and someone called me a mag. I really wasn't embarrassed for myself as much a I was for that guy. Do the real mags know that you just referred to us as mags? I'm pretty sure a mag is a TGR forum rat and not a term for fans of TGR movies even though those things are not mutually exclusive.

 
when i was a kid i was probably one of the worst gapers on the mountain and got ran over a lot because i was always in everyones way and now im always getting pissed from gapers getting in my way
 
I dont have a link to the thread because i got it deleted by a mod because i was getting trolled so hard, anyways:

I saw on some thread about shredsauce as soon as i found ns a couple years ago that someone had a copy of jiblife saying something along the lines of "this game is so much better" and with the classic jiblife xbox game case and the guy in the air with the skate game stuff around it.he said he got it because "his uncle works for ea" ahha, knowing me fresh on ns and being 13 i made a thread about how i get jiblife and that i was willing to pay 100 dollars for it. it was my first post so ns being ns i got everything from look through the level one calender (which i did haha) to ski patrol blew it up(which i had no clue what it meant). anyways after two pages some kind soul finally pm'ed me the truth than i asked a mod to delete it. It was a great start to ns and after getting the thread deleted i felt so embarrassed I made a new account. haha classic 13 year old ns shit hahha.
 
as much as we want to hear about threesomes with one's kin, Potatoe's walking away with this one... look out for the PM with the download code!
 
That would be the day I joined TGR.

Kidding aside, probably when I slid 2/3M along a flat box literally on my face, cracked goggles, such pain. It's really a wonder how I managed to balance.

What made it worse is during my previous attempt I had done the exact same thing but with my head, I'll not be revealing what I was attempting.
