i know it rained, but is anyone gonna be at wilmot tommarrow(1-3)? im new to skiing and was looking for some pointers on skiing switch.

oh yeah one more thing. the park was really nice the other day wen i was there. those ski school guys that come on here give BARB props for the work she did or has done lets hope they don't fire her or she quits.

looks like its gonna be crap. im going sunday for sure. its gonna be in the 20s everynight so they should make snow. need someone to teach my fat a$$ how to ski switch

i was up today and the park was redone. well the jumps were reshaped cause of the rain. the 40 footer went down to a 15-20 footer and the smaller on is maybe a 10 footer. the rails are all very woobly cause there isnt much snow around them. them jumps themselves were nice other than the fact that they were soooo small. By sunday the park should be decent again. there is talk of the 45 footer comming back and maybe a hip (concept311)?

it was shit during the week, but now they have been blowing snow to make it better. What do you rock when you ski?

electric goggles, protec B2(on the way),white columbia freeride pants and a black Skate Street(park in cali) windbreaker

hummmm i really dont know, havnt been up there since tuesday! They have been making snow at night though, so if it was dead, they jump started its life again with the guns!

the snow was sht, so i went to alpine. started to get the hang of switch, but i still plow most of the way down

thats not a bad idea at all. I have off though tommorrw (monday) so i will atleast go check it out and make a aperance.

If it sucks might just have to go to GGR

how was the park? didn't go more than one time last week cause the biggest jump was like 12-20ft long. it was tuesday.

yeah everything was smaller. was really surprissed with the snow they had. I thought there would have been a lot more dirt spots. I got there around 1ish the snow was nice then but it got really shitty really fast once it got dark out. Then got stuck doing a damn snowboard lesson:(

Someone that was grooming fucked the small side of the jump when they where grooming it they put a big feaster (HOLE) in the landing. the big side was nice though I thought.

yeah i noticed that when the park opened, me and another instructor tried to fill it in, then gave up and closed it off. i landed in it once, i could have benn deadly.

How's the snow holding up with all this rain and freakish Jan. weather? Any of you guys that made it to Alpine, how did it look up there also?

looks like there still up not sure how though. its in the 40's right know seems more like april then january. I'm sure the skiing is nice on what snow is there but tonight will suck when it gets cold

alpine was not too bad on sunday, park only had a few rails and one table allllll the way at he bottom(had to snake between all the little boarders to get to it)

anybody been there this week. was thinking of going tomorrow if i couldn't find anything to do at my house. i would like to know about the park

it was groomed real nice, it was like 1 huge take off and landing, the jumps were groomed really nice, they were about 15 feetish, but the landing was groomed so you could land waaay down it and it was perfect!

you said that 15fit isnt big, and i replied that it isnt big, i never implied that it was big, i simply said that the jump was nice, and if you landed donw on the landing like me and a snowboarder that i was with, it is actually like 25-30 feet.

umm about the same, today all the lifts were runnign and it was all open. only about 1/4 of the hill was groomed, it was fun!

I was at alpine Valley saturday they had everything groomed which normal on a wisconsin powder people would hate but. Since it was groomed it made the snow they had just that much better wasn't ice at all really. I really like Alpine Valley Even there park Flowed so nicely jumps where small but fun and the rails where in perfect spots unlike Wilmot which needs a lot of work. Will have to get on barb abou that.

Shit I might have to Jump Ship and work at Alpine Next winter its just as far of a Drive from racine as Wilmot.
