Hey. I was just wondering how the park was looking in Wilmot. I am thinking of going up on saturday with some friends. Tell me if your going and how it is up there if you know???? K++++++++++ for anyone that helps!!!!!!!!!
i'll be there all day saturday. I havent been up there in a few weeks but last time I was there they had a bunch of rails and one jumps that was alright, kinda flat-like jump but hopefully they will add some wu-tang to it this weekend
its basicly set up the same way from when you where there last. I wanna give that jump a whole lot of wu tang it can only get better. there is a also a jump in to bunny glen that is pretty big. I work on thursday night out there so I will know more after that and let all of you in on what is changed
its legit..the rails are damn fun..they got sum fun flat rails and the kinked rails are fun..and the jumps is pretty legit..except the speed issue on the bigger jump but the smaller one is fun..
The park is excellent, with an extremely large variety of rails
As for the jump, do you think it would be possible to make a step-up or is it too much work especially with the lack of snow? I personally love step-ups, so much easier to learn on
its worth a try. there is a bunch of snow above the jump i might just have to rape a bunch from above it and in between the jump and the whale tail.
is everyone cool with one take off for the jump the same size or a hair bigger then how the small side is set up? cause i know there is no speed issue with the small side.
let me know what you guys think
If you were to do it, I would say make it a hair bigger
And what if you put an infinitesimal p.o.s. kicker off to side just to try and keep all the wee children from ruining the jump? If not though w/e the step up idea sounds great
me and a few other guys were thinking about heading up somewhere saturday. what kind of footage is that bigger jump? we are trying to decide to go to wilmont or alpine.... but since a bunch of you guys seem to be riding there on saturady we might go to wilmont
not sure never really measuered it i know some of the guys where having a hard time getting speed to hit it. I deffently made the big side to big for the amount of space there is from the top of the run to it.
I know when i 'm sitting on the deck of the jump with the Groomer its as long as the groomer with the tiler droped on the snow.
i say hells ya to the 1 jump and make it bigger, why not!! the step up would be amazing but it seems like it would be very hard to make considering that they cant blow snow for the rest of the season but that would be hella sick if there was a way to make it
im down with one lip, i was also wondering, is there any way to put up some sort of fence along the sides of the inrun to the jump? it might help to stop people from cutting all the way across the run and then stopping ontop of the jumps...
what about bringing back thos blue barrel jibs from last year? they were pretty fun to screw around on or puttin some other random stuff over on bunny glen like last year, like a junkyard kinda thing or something for this weekend, just like throw stuff out there haha
they did have a Barrel jib out earlyer but then it got warm and rained like it is this week. not sure about putting all that stuff back on in the glen its set up pretty good already.
Pray the rain isn't bad tommorrw grr fuck mother nature.
ya i tore it out after killin my shoulder on it.... it was warm and i was doin handplants all day (vert) no prob and at like 6 ish it just collapsed when i hit it..... that hurt lol.... so ya me and some other guys ripped it out cu it wasnt safe
