Williams Lake?

Hello!

Can anyone give me the lowdown on Williams Lake? Good place to live as a skier? May possibly have an opportunity to move there from Ontario for work. I see that it is basically 5 hrs from a number of good mountains (Whistler, Powder King, Revelstoke) and also has a small local hill.

Any non-skiing info about the town would be appreciated as well.
 
Williams lake? Get some avy training/gear, buy a sled, and you've got the quesnel highlands and caribou mountains for the taking.

Google earth horsefly/likely - just beyond those towns is proper mountains with a logging road network that will give you access to terrain with no competition.
