7 minutes? cut that down to under 2 if you're making a reel, otherwise this is an edit... will watch when im not busy as fuck tho
 
I know it's long, I was going to mention it in the description but decided not to. Truth is, I wanted to use this whole Phoenix song really, really badly. So decided to jeopardize the short/best edit, and added some extra shots to fulfill the song. I like the feeling/emotion of the whole song.
 
Stop being so fucking sensitive, a reel is not 7 minutes long, plan and simple.

I just watched this video and you killed it man! I hope you at least realize i wasn't hating.

To tell you the truth, I don't think there needs to be a time limit on reels. I created my the reel the way I wanted to.

There was a moment, where i thought it will go massive, but it didnt. and i liked that.

im glad that few people can shoot and edit it.

wow. Honestly, when I first noticed your reel was 7 minutes long I was a bit hesitant...but by the end of it, I didn't want it to end. Not only was your cinematography superb, but your editing was on point. nice work will!
 
I feel like eheath is way less douchey now and way more telling people how he feels. If that offends people than so be it but I don't really ever mind seeing him post anymore.
 
I'm going to agree. A reel can be as long as you want. Should just be a compilation of your best footage or footage you enjoy the most. Those were some of the most artistic and best shots I have seen. I would love to see an entire edit of straight skiing solely from your shots and editing perspective.
 
I would think that a reel should be longer rather than short, but I have no experience with them whatsoever. Anyway, that was without a doubt one of the sickest things I have ever seen. You're a crazy good filmer/editor Will! Shit was awesome!
 
haha, that song is the ultimate blue balls track. every time i listen to it i expect it to hit hard a bunch of times and it never does.

that whole reel was fucking sick. you shoot excellent urban cut shots, the puddle shot of chowens was ill.
 
damn that just took me away for 5 min.

it s all dark in my room and i was just straight travelling. awesome.

 
the reel was great and all, but i thought the real success was in the thread the reel created... positive commentary for will, hate and love for eheath, nick used a british saying, the debate of artistic discretion in cinematography reels, the list goes on, just wonderful
 
Really well done man, I really enjoyed that.

Could have been cut down for sure, but its all personal preference.

Good job!
 
Not 100% sure yet, gotta talk to them and see if I will be around. It's gonna be crazy this year though.
