William Bullock

uhh..well he is my roomate next year and is from eagle river. i was hoping he skied and someone in the AK forum would know him...it was wishful thinking...

ahhh you will not have any trouble finding other alaskans that do ski who are also attending msu. several of them have ns too.

there are tons of AK kids in bozeman right now.. including me. im sitting on hayes street right now, close to campus. im not going to school here, i just came on the road trip through canada with my brother and friends.

off the top of my head, my bother, josh mayer, alan boyce... snowboarders. joe funk, jacob calvin, and uh... maybe a couple more.. skiers. all good riders. and if owen is going here too, hes rad as well. a lot of juneau kids come here.

i dont know if mark rainery is gonna be around this year but their crew (bad larry) has filmed at big sky and bridger for a few years as one of their main spots in their videos, which are actually epic videos. amazing riding. not just regular home-made amazing, but like.. real killer riding, killer styles, awesome people, awesome movies, etc etc etc.

its too fucking hot here in the summer though. 90 every day? fuck that. i go home in about 14 hours though. cant wait. im sure ill like it here in the winter when i come back for at least a week or so, but im not really a fan right now. just not my style i guess.... i miss the ocean a lot.. thats a big part of it.

no edit feature?

anyway, i was going to add that i could possibly kinda hook you up with the alaska kids i know if you wanted. they all pretty much ski or board, and are all really cool friendly people. kinda one of those "here are their names, and ill let them know about you so they know to expect meeting someone."

just thought id throw that out there.

yeah, ive heard.. which is why ill like it a hell of a lot more when its snowy and not 90, haha. plus, a trip is always better when im snowboarding, instead of fucking floating down a river in a tube for two hours or going to some restaurant or something.

the boardshop is amazing though. so much history there. even if you dont snowboard, world boards is a killer place.

screw this lack of edit feature.

one of the girls im staying with said sometimes they get regular super cold periods, like -30 or something, with wind on top of that. thats brutal. juneau hits that almost never. we had about three days of -30 after windchill at night and it was nuts. my car hated it.

ive been told that normal winter temps are around 20 though, which is perfect for me. obviously it varies, but its nice to know its just like home, but i think we get a lot more snow in southeast AK. im excited to come ride somewhere new, though.
