Will this work?

I am building a summer/winter drop in and I need your opinion

It will be 6 ft high ant 32 inches wide on the run down.

The run will be covered with a solid sheet of plywood.

ALSO: I am wondering the name of the astro turf or stuff you use to slide on to get the rail?

As much help as possible would be highly appreciated!

Thanks

BUT... dont use plywood for the surface of the drop in. the friction will be much larger causing you to go much slower than if you put down 2x4s perpendicular to the riding direction (look in the cult for better directions). and just go to home depot or lowes for that shit, back in the carpet section you will find a bunch of different types of turf. just get the cheapest one, mine was something like $0.45 sqft.

this thread will probably help https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/cult/forumthread/thread_id/448474/

ok so um i bought a sheet of plywood and i think i am going to return it but the problem is that i am working on it in the school and i'm afraid my teacher will get mad if i return this so got any excuses on what to say to him that will convince him to let me or not get mad?

bump someone said plywood would work fine to but i want to know which one is the best and creates the most speed? Plywood or 2x4's going down the slope?

2x4s will obviously be faster. less surface area= less friction= more speed. with that said plywood will work fine if your tower is gonna be 8 feet tall.

dude read some threads in this cult I'm sure you'll find loads of informationhttps://www.newschoolers.com/ns/cult/forum/cat_id/1453/

Did you even read my post, or anyone elses? Using plywood is dumb, i think anyone above a 6th grade education knows that less surface area = less friction. There's a 10+ page thread that is stickied in the cult dedicated to posting a pic of your drop in, im sure you can eyeball something from that.
